Contract Details

• Location: San Jose, CA (Good Samaritan Hospital)
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (2nd Floor)
• Weekends: Rotating weekends based on Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

Facility & Unit Overview

• Facility Scale: 474-bed acute care facility
• Unit Structure: 10 L&D beds with a supportive team structure including Charge RN, Unit Clerk, Scrub Tech, and RNs
• Ratios: Mandated strictly per California Title 22 ratios (1:2 for active labor, 1:1 for second stage/heavy complications, 1:2 for recovery)
• Case Mix: High volume of vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other perinatal operating room cases

Requirements & Experience

• Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated Labor & Delivery experience strictly required
• Active California (CA) RN license required at submission
• AHA BLS required
• (Standard CA L&D compliance will also require NRP and AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
