About the role
Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position in Lewisville, Texas at 500 West Main Street, Second Floor, General Information Building. The unit has 18 beds, 54 staff members (day shift: 1 charge/CNC, 8‑10 RNs, 1‑2 OB techs, 1 HUC; night shift: 1 charge/CNC, 8‑10 RNs, 1‑2 OB techs). Equipment includes GE fetal monitoring and EMR is CPN Meditech. Start date 10/19/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide labor and delivery care following AWHONN guidelines, managing patient ratios (1:1 for Pitocin, C‑section delivery, recovery; 2‑3 antepartum patients). Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, triage, and iron infusions. Participate in on‑call (1‑2 shifts per schedule) and float to mother‑baby as needed.
Requirements
