Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,605 per week

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is working in the L&D unit but MUST also provide postpartum/nursery/mother-baby couplet care
• Take patient assignment floating on Medical/Surgical unit
• Unit details:
  • Beds: 4 and 2 overflow
  • Births per month: 8 to 15
  • Patient ratios: Active labor 1:1; triage 1:3-4
  • Weekend requirement: every 3rd (Fri, Sat, Sun)
  • Holidays: every third holiday (could be more to fill the needs of the facility) – rotate with permanent staff
  • Call requirement: none
  • Scrub color: Any color/pattern – MUST be clean, not torn, in good condition
  • Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• C-section experience required – MUST be comfortable prepping but not required to assist (will be responsible for baby post-delivery)
• Floating to Med Surg – must be able to take an assignment of 3-4 (maybe 5) on night shifts
• Floor-specific orientation: 2-3 days depending on comfort

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP
