About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a position in Reedley, California. This role involves providing labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) services, including OB Triage if performed by staff in this department. The position is located at Adventist Health Reedley, a 49-bed acute care hospital serving the Central Valley since 2011.
Reedley is situated in the central San Joaquin Valley, close to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks, offering a great cost of living and close-knit communities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans, employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Directly provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT-FHM) certification.
- 1 reference in the last 12 months.
- AWHONN Certification in Labor & Delivery (required within a year).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
Pay
Pay rate: $2,515.00 - $2,670.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
