Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,575 per week

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department position available in a healthcare facility located in Sheboygan, WI. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. This role involves providing comprehensive care to obstetric patients from active labor through post‑partum transitions. The position requires collaboration with a skilled team to support low‑risk patients and assist with obstetric surgeries and post‑delivery care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients from active labor through post‑partum transitions.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to support low‑risk patients.
• Assist with obstetric surgeries and post‑delivery care.
• Manage patient ratios: laboring patients 1:1, active labor 1:2, couplets 1:3.
• Perform cervical exams, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV management, Pitocin administration, newborn care, and post‑partum care.
• Participate in orientation (1‑2 days) and unit‑specific training.
• Adhere to weekend rotation every 4th week, holiday every other week, and on‑call for OB surgical technicians (4‑6 shifts per six‑week period, overnight call only with 30‑minute response time).

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor, delivery, and postpartum experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with post‑women’s surgeries.
• Experience assisting with vaginal deliveries.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques.
