About the role

Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery in Tacoma, WA. You will work in a dynamic environment at a facility known for its comprehensive healthcare services, including a Level II trauma center and the second-largest obstetrical care center in Washington state. This role involves providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the childbirth process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
• Follow labor and delivery protocols and monitor patients effectively.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Registered Nurse (RN) SSN required.
• Date of Birth (DOB) required for compliance.
• One professional reference from the last 12 months.
• Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
• Reference dated within the last 12 months for jobs worked within the past 5 years.
• Assignment dates must match the job posting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,498.00 - $2,626.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
