About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under supervision
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and doulas
- Care for both low and high-risk obstetric patients
- Perform typical procedures such as cerclages, versions, c-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C's, and care of fetal demise
- Ability to circulate during c-sections
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1:2, with potential fluctuations based on acuity
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
- NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN certification
- Comfortable with unblocked/unepiduralized patients
- Strong collaboration skills
- Mom/Baby, couplet care experience
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience with GE fetal monitor system and Meditech EMR
