About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and manage postpartum patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
