Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,508 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Puyallup, WA. The L&D RN will provide high-quality nursing care to obstetrical patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases, ensuring safety and exceptional care during labor, delivery, and immediate recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care and continuous monitoring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Triage, assess, and manage patients throughout active labor, delivery, and immediate post-anesthesia/recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, identifying and acting on critical changes promptly.
• Assist physicians during high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and related obstetrical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain strict patient safety standards and quality of care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required.

Pay

Weekly pay: $2,026.79 – $2,384.46

• Hours per week: 36
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
