Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,506 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing position near Monticello, Illinois. This is a 13-week contract with day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, and high overtime availability.

Contract details

• Location: Near Monticello, IL
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (with high OT availability)
• Charting System: OBIX (during delivery) and MediTech (post-birth)

Unit overview

• Intimate 5-bed unit averaging 30 to 37 births per month
• Very light float expectations – may occasionally float to Med-Surg to assist with medication passes, but will not take a primary patient load

Compensation & housing

• High OT availability – $90/hr (48 hour week = $3,366)
• Free housing provided directly by the facility; alternatively, candidates can find housing in nearby Bloomington (35 mins east) or Champaign (40 mins south)

Licensing

• 48-Hour IL License Fast-Track: The facility has a direct contact at the Board of Nursing to get an Illinois license processed within 48 hours of applying
• Compact RNs are also accepted

Requirements & certifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated LDRP experience required
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NRP
• S.T.A.B.L.E. – the manager is an instructor and will accept completion of the online portion only
