Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,495 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Memphis, Missouri. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on August 3, 2026.

• One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Required Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards
