About the role
Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Fetal heart monitoring
- Cardiac monitoring
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Warmer operation
- GE monitor use
- Pulse oximeter use
- Must be able to assist in deliveries
- Must be able to circulate during cesarean sections
- Must have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications; FHM preferred
- On-call up to 24 hours every 6 weeks
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and major holiday required
- Participate in ITO interviews
- Float between Labor & Delivery units in Richmond
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
- Certified EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Experience with EPIC and Perinatal Centricity (QS)
- Hospital experience required
- Ability to scrub and assist in deliveries
- Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts
- Must be available for every other weekend and major holidays
Qualifications
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Virginia
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Preferred FHM certification
