Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,470 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position in Salt Lake City, Utah. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical unit procedures including vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, operative vaginal deliveries (vacuum/forceps), external cephalic versions, cerclage placement/removal, iron infusions, labor inductions and augmentations, postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization.
• May float to Postpartum unit as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Experience with fetal monitoring interpretation.
• Experience circulating Cesarean sections.
• Ability to manage high‑risk OB patients and obstetric emergencies.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Required certifications: NRP, ALS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring.

Skills

• Preferred/nice‑to‑have: experience with operative vaginal deliveries (vacuum/forceps), antepartum patient care and management, external cephalic versions and cerclages, NICU or newborn stabilization experience.
