Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Elk City, Oklahoma.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 9 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Provide nursing care to patients in the Obstetrics (OB) and Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. - Work assigned day or night shifts based on scheduling needs. - Serve as the sole L&D nurse on shift, requiring the ability to work independently. - Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. - Administer medications and perform necessary medical interventions as required. - Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare staff. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. - Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations. - Required certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support). - Preferred certifications: Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).Med Ninjas Job ID #11261.
