Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Mitchell, South Dakota. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a 12-hour shift differential.

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
Special Requirements
Must have one year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, current BLS certification, and NRP certification. Additional certifications such as AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification, STABLE, and ACLS may be required.
Essential Work Functions
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination
- Provide immediate postpartum care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Respond to obstetric emergencies
- Document patient care accurately
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
- Absorb and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Comply with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- NRP Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)
