About the role
This 19-bed non-profit hospital serves the residents and visitors of the Nantucket island community by providing a broad range of health and wellness services. The facility has 30 specialty physicians who regularly visit the island, practicing over 25 sub-specialties, including neurology, dermatology, podiatry, endocrinology, and pediatrics. The hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, reflecting its commitment to safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including postpartum and neonatal support
- Work within Epic electronic health record system
Requirements
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- 2 professional references from the last 48 months (minimum 1 supervisor or above, from same skillset)
- 7 years of work history (non-clinical work may supplement if nursing experience is less than 7 years)
- RN license copy on file
- Must pass fit test
- Flu vaccination on file or willingness to obtain (declinations not accepted)

- Previous travel nursing experience
- Postpartum experience

Pay
Pay Rate: $2,330.00 - $2,450.00 per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined). Based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
