About the role
Outstanding Labor and Delivery unit in Anchorage is looking for the right RN to join their 7-bed team. No elective pre-39-week deliveries. This highly motivated team of caregivers offers a challenging and welcoming environment focused on optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Circulate C-sections
- Perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE)
- Place intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC) and fetal scalp electrodes (FSE)
- Act as stork nurse and transition baby at delivery
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active Alaska RN license (copy required)
- ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT-FHM) certifications
- Valid SSN and date of birth on file
- No more than 90-day gap in work history within the last year
- EPIC experience preferred
