About the Role

Travel nursing position at Centennial Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Unit specifics include:

• 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient ratios: 1:2
• Staffing: RNs, unit secretaries, OR techs
• Documentation systems: CPN, Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3×12-hour shifts
• Floating policy: travelers float first
• Patient Experience: shared decision-making model

Responsibilities

• Care of the laboring patient
• Care of the newborn immediately after delivery
• Circulate and recover cesarean-section patients
• Perform procedures: vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor

Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Active RN license
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Scrubs: ceil blue, navy blue, or gray (not provided by hospital)
