About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Reston, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit
- Perform procedures such as c-sections, epidurals, blood patches, spinals, cerclages, and versions
- Circulate in the operating room (OR)
- Administer IV drips including magnesium
- Provide care in high-acuity settings
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWOHN certifications
- Experience with a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit
- Experience as a scrub nurse and circulating in the OR
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience with fetal heart rate monitoring
- Intermediate advanced skills in the Level III NICU
Skills
- Documentation using Meditech and CPN
- Familiarity with hospital-specific policies and procedures
