HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Labor, deliver, recover, triage, Antepartum, circulate for C-section
- 1st hour baby care (excludes admission assessment, eyes and thighs)
- Breastfeeding assistance
Requirements
- Current (within previous 2 years) Intermediate Fetal heart Monitoring
- L&D experience
- Current NRP and BLS required
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at facilities with >3000 births per year
- Patient preferences are central
Unit details
- Location: Richmond, Virginia — The Women's Hospital, 1602 Skipworth Road, Richmond, VA, 2nd floor
- Beds: 16 LDR, 3 OR, 3 Triage, 3 RR
- Staff: 70 total
- Day shift: 1 charge, 12 RN, 2-3 Surgical Techs
- Night shift: 1 charge, 6-7 RN, 1 Surgical tech
- Patient ratios: AWHONN ratios are the goal — 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 (low acuity)
- Equipment: Novii monitors, iMobile, headsets, pass-through skin-to-skin C-section drape, deep soaker tubs, light therapy, aroma therapy
- EMR: CPN and Meditech
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days (7:00AM – 7:00PM)
