Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,205 per week
Job Summary
This position involves caring for postpartum mothers and low-risk antepartum patients in a unit with 23 beds. The role requires providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care, and postpartum assessments, with opportunities to float to the labor & delivery postpartum floor, neonatal intensive care unit, and medical-surgical units.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
Two years of nursing experience with at least one year on Mother-Baby/Postpartum units
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with breastfeeding, newborn assessments, IV placement, phlebotomy, PKU testing, and neonatal care
Ability to provide discharge teaching, vaccinate neonates, perform fundal checks, and care for 3-4 mother-baby dyads independently
Floating
Voluntary float to Labor & Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; unit operates as a closed pod to birth center.
Weekend Rotation
Yes, every other or every third weekend.
On Call
No on-call requirement.
Scrubs
Any color scrubs; hospital scrubs for NICU.

Additional Information
This position involves caring for postpartum and low-risk antepartum patients, with an emphasis on neonatal and maternal assessments, breastfeeding support, and neonatal procedures. Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
