About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a 13-bed labor and delivery unit with additional triage beds.
- Work under AWHONN guidelines with a 1:1 labor and recovery ratio, and manage up to 2 Cytotec or Cervidil patients.
- Utilize fetal monitoring and OR equipment as needed.
- Use electronic medical records (EMR) such as CPN/GE TRAVEL.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN.
