Responsibilities
- Start IVs and draw labs
- Interpret fetal strips
- Perform vaginal exams
- Serve as OB circulator
- Perform typical unit procedures:
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Amniocentesis
- Amnioinfusions
- IUPC/FSE placement
Requirements
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- NRP certification (required)
- Proficient in starting IVs and drawing labs (required)
- Proficient in interpreting fetal strips (required)
- Proficient in vaginal exams (required)
- Ability to scrub (preferred)
