Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,168 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 per week, 12-hour shifts, nights

Special Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies
• Document patient care accurately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read/write in the English language
• Ability to read/write and communicate verbally
• Read and comprehend written instructions
• Follow verbal instructions
• Proficiency in PC skills

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Must be able to move about
• Must be able to move equipment (50-100 lbs)
• Must be able to push, pull, and bend

Interpersonal Skills

• Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
• Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
• Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
• Must be able to concentrate continuously to detail

Sensory Requirements
