Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,099 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The shift is 12 hours, days, with a start date of July 20, 2026.

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Facility in Richmond, Virginia

Special Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards
