Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 9 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience required; first-time travelers not accepted - Patient Population: Neonates/Infants and Adults - Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP (AWHONN Intermediate preferred) - Skills/Procedures: Experience with labor (vaginal), C-sections, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, D&C - Unit Details: - 16 L&D beds - Average daily census: 15 - 6-bed L&D triage unit - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1-2 - Work Setting: Team-based labor and delivery unit - Systems Used: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR - Scrub Color: Provided by facility - RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 7 days; blackout dates for Spring Break (April 4th-12th) - Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per contract - Floating: Required within facility and scope of practice as needed - Call Requirement: 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks - Holiday Requirement: - If 1 major holiday falls in assignment, must work it - If 2, must work both - If 3, must work 2 - Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day - Compliance: Full compliance required before start; non-compliance delays start by 2 weeks - Locals: Accepted at same rate - Orientation: Non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length - Offer Process: Aya Offer contingent on clinical pass and meeting facility requirements; manager review within 48 hours of signed confirmationMed Ninjas Job ID #18594.
