About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 09/07/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The facility is a 170-bed Level 2 Trauma center located on New Hampshire's Seacoast, featuring 5 LDR, 8 mom/baby, and 5 pedi/gyn beds. Portsmouth is a historic city with a blend of small-town charm and New England traditions, offering easy access to Boston and local beaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including postpartum and neonatal support.
• Work in a fast-paced, Level 2 Trauma center environment.

Requirements

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Active RN license (Compact accepted).
• Certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT-FHM).
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN certification.
• No more than a 90-day gap in work history within the last year.
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
