About the role
- 4 Labor/Delivery/Recovery beds
- 2 OB OR Suites with adjacent PACU
- 3-bay Triage
- Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, acuity-dependent
- Unit staffing: Charge RN, Staff RNs, ORTs 24/7 (unit secretaries and techs available)
Equipment used on the unit:
- Fetal monitors
- Baxter IV pumps
- Alaris PCA pumps for Epidurals
- Bakri balloon for postpartum hemorrhage
- Neptune surgical suction system
- Belmont Rapid Infuser
- Bladder scanner
- Panda infant warmers
