Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery travel assignment in Florence, AL. Provide expert care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. Assess patients, monitor fetal heart rates, assist with deliveries, and support families through childbirth and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Assess laboring patients and monitor fetal heart rates
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate postpartum care
• Support families through childbirth and postpartum period
• Document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Alabama RN license (Compact accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (often expected)
• ACLS and Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT-FHM) certifications
• Experience in labor and delivery or acute care (recommended)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Schedule
