Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $1,944 per week
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana.
About the Role
This is a travel nursing position in a hospital setting. The contract is for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, primarily on 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating days and nights).
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a hospital setting.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other obstetric procedures.
- Monitor and interpret fetal strips using fetal monitors.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Follow unit policies and dress code requirements.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
