About the role
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pregnant women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced obstetric environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP, AWHONN certification in fetal heart monitoring, circulate Certified Nurse (CN), transition desired, 5 years' RN experience, patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2, beds 13, scrub color Caribbean Blue, EMR Medhost & Centricity Perinatal, changing to CERNER.
- Additional Responsibilities: Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility. Certification and immunization documentation must be submitted, including Hep B titers or declination, MMR, Varicella, Rubella, Rubeola, Tdap, PPD or quantiferon, current flu vaccination or declination, Covid vaccine or declination, current urine drug screen, and background check.
Requirements
- Shift commencement date: September 21, 2026, with assignment duration through December 21, 2026.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
