This position involves providing essential postpartum and neonatal care within a fully-accredited acute care facility. The role requires attendance at deliveries, newborn recovery, and caring for post cesarean patients, supporting a dedicated team focused on delivering a world-class patient experience. Job Details Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS); required. Education: Nursing license required. Experience: 2 years of experience in Mother/Baby Couple Care preferred, with a minimum of 2 years. Location: Sylva, NC, approximately 60 miles or more from the healthcare provider. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Must be able to attend deliveries, catch newborns, and recover them, with experience in post cesarean patient care. Prepping and PACU experience for C-sections preferred. Responsibilities: Care for postpartum women and neonates, support antepartum and postpartum complications, vaginal and C-section deliveries. Dress Code: Scrubs (any color; OR scrubs available). Staffing: One position available for coverage due to leave.
