About the Role

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LD RN) needed for a 340-bed Level II Trauma center in a suburb just east of Richmond. The unit includes 16 LDR rooms, 3 ORs, 3 Triage rooms, and 3 Recovery rooms. This facility is a recipient of the Healthgrades Labor and Delivery Excellence Award and is recognized for superior performance in labor and delivery, ranking among the top 10% of hospitals evaluated.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal settings
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of births (>3000 per year preferred)

Requirements

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery (LD) RN experience
• Active RN license (Compact accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA, BLS-AHA, NRP-AHA (AAP-NRP)
• No more than 90 days gap in work history within the last year
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN certification
• Experience at facilities with >3000 births per year

Pay

Pay Rate: $1784.00 - $1875.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
