About the role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth.
- Coach women throughout the birthing process.
- Maintain and monitor the mother's and baby's vitals.
- Administer medication and manage potential complications.
- Auxiliary in caesarian sections.
- Provide education and guidance to new mothers regarding recovery and infant care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Active RN license.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
