Travel assignment for a Lactation and Delivery Nurse in a Labor and Delivery Department located in a healthcare facility in Natchez, Mississippi. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, with an emphasis on labor, delivery, and postpartum support. The role requires flexibility to meet the demands of the unit and to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Float to other units within the facility as required
• Adhere to facility dress code, including scrub colors
• Utilize electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE (Stability program for neonatal care) certification
• Permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility

Qualifications

• Experience in Labor and Delivery (preferred)
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills

Schedule

• 13 weeks duration (08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026)
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
