About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Hardeeville, South Carolina. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 09/07/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Common diagnoses and treatments include labor and pre-term labor. The unit has 6 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-3:1. Charting is done via Epic, and the scrub color is navy. Areas of float support include Post Partum, and special procedures involve Women's Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including monitoring labor progress and assisting with deliveries.
- Support Women's Health procedures as required.
- Float to Post Partum unit as needed.
- Adhere to unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios and maintain accurate documentation using Epic.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with Labor and Delivery (LD) specialty.
- Compact RN license accepted.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cerner charting system.
Pay
Pay rate ranges from $1,646.00 to $1,747.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
