Role & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive IR procedures, including pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedure monitoring, sedation administration, and post-procedure recovery.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
- Perform assessments, educate patients, monitor vital signs, assist during procedures, recognize complications, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent IR RN experience
- Valid RN license
- CURRENT BLS certification
- PREFERRED: PALS, ENPC, ACLS, and RCIS/RCES certifications
- Demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal, motor, visual, and sensory skills are essential
