Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $2,854 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Interventional Radiology to join one of our top healthcare clients in Tucson, Arizona. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 09/14/2026, with 40 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing care to cardiac patients while assisting Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Endovascular Neurosurgeons in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a strong background in Interventional Radiology nursing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
