Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. The start date is July 27, 2026, and the shift is 8 hours per day.

Special Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• RCIS/RCES certification preferred

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:

Essential Work Functions

Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing medical history and lab results.

Education and inform patients and families about IR procedures, sedation, and post-procedure care.

Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, medications, and procedural details.

Collaborate with IR technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.

Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

• Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
