Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $2,754 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Manchester, Connecticut. This position offers 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing care to cardiac patients while assisting Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Endovascular Neurosurgeons in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to patients and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication, including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
