Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland. The role involves pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedure monitoring, sedation administration, and post-procedure recovery management.

Essential Work Functions

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing medical history and lab results
• Education patients and families about IR procedures, sedation, and post-procedure care
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, medications, and procedural details
• Collaborate with IR technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC certifications
• ACLS certification
• RCIS/RCES certification
