Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves supporting a dynamic and fast-paced IR department, primarily working night shifts. The position requires a professional capable of performing advanced imaging procedures, assisting with patient care, and maintaining clinical standards within the department.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures
• Assist with patient care
• Work with imaging equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Hill Rom beds, and telemetry monitors
• Perform procedures including IV insertions, NGT placement, and maintenance of temporary pacemakers
• Interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
• Maintain adherence to department policies

Requirements

• Certified radiologic technologist with experience in Interventional Radiology or related areas
• Familiarity with IR procedures, patient care, and imaging equipment
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with post-cardiac procedural care
• Advanced patient monitoring
