Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $1,835 per week
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nursing position in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted practice standards, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The nurse will provide health teaching, counseling, and support to promote patient well-being within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform health data assessments
- Provide health teaching, health counseling, therapy, and treatment
- Delegate medical functions
- Refer patients as needed
- Monitor treatment plans
- Document patient care in detail
- Utilize resources efficiently
- Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Be on-call during scheduled shifts
Requirements
- ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
Schedule
- Night shift: 1900-0730
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week duration, starting 08/31/2026
