About the role

Infusion Nurse, located in Pittsfield, MA, is responsible for providing expert infusion therapy and patient care within a dedicated cancer treatment center. The role involves delivering chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and other infusion services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and blood transfusions
• Access mediports, perform central line and peripheral IV insertions
• Operate Meditech Expanse system (preferred)

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Infusion Certification required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• At least 2 years of current infusion experience
• Ability to perform venous access procedures
• Must reside outside of 50 miles of the facility and include permanent address in profile

Qualifications

• 0 years of general nursing experience, with 2+ years in infusion
• Valid RN license in Massachusetts

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
