Travel Nurse RN - Infusion - $2,295 per week

Job Summary

The Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare organization in Dexter, Missouri. This role involves administering IV infusions, injections, and providing patient care for oncology and gastrointestinal (GI) patients in an infusion center setting. The position offers the opportunity to work in a busy facility with a range of clinical cases, including oncology treatments and GI procedures, utilizing the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system with a transition to EPIC scheduled for fall 2024.

Job Details

• Location: Dexter, Missouri
• Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• At least 1 year of infusion therapy experience
• Ability to administer chemo and other IV infusions and injections
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hemo/oncology care and pre/post GI procedure patient care or circulating GI procedures

Unit Information

The infusion center cares for oncology patients, with a focus on IV infusion and injection therapies. No procedures are required beyond typical infusion care.

Additional Information

• The organization is a 48-bed acute care hospital with a new Emergency Department, behavioral health triage, and a wide range of acuity.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
