Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,424 per week

Responsibilities

• Care for 1-3 ICU patients, including ventilator management
• Conduct bedside shift reports for every patient transfer of care
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Perform advanced procedures:
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • Advanced Hemodynamics monitoring
  • Phlebotomy
  • Post-op day 0 CABG care (fresh hearts from OR)
  • Manage impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz catheters
  • Neuro procedures for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage
  • Manage EVDs (External Ventricular Drains), bolts, Codman devices
  • Artic Sun induced hypothermia
• Administer respiratory treatments (inhalers and nebulizers) outside of the ICU

Requirements

• 36 months of RN experience, with at least 1 year in ICU
• One previous successful travel nursing assignment, preferably in a facility using Meditech
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred qualifications:
  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course)
