Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,319 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing position for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit RN in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 13-week assignment starting 09/27/2026 with a 48-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A).

Unit Details

• 26-bed unit with 15 staff members per shift
• Day shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech
• Night shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech
• Patient ratios: 1:2
• Specialized equipment: Balloon pumps, CRRT, Hypothermia
• EMR system: Meditech

Typical procedures performed: Heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, medication drips.

Ideal candidate profile: Driven, organized, efficient, with a positive attitude and engaged demeanor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience (required)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications (required)
• Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
• Prior experience traveling to large facility ICUs (preferred)
