About the role

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel nurse position specializing in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU. The unit cares for patients with DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, ventilators, and other critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for ICU patients including those requiring Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and post-op cardiovascular surgeries
• Operate and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Manage 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) in a high-acuity setting

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact state
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT

• 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
