About the role

Take on a high-commitment, high-reward travel assignment at Rapid City Hospital (Monument Health), a major regional trauma center in Rapid City, SD! We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for day shifts on a 48-hour per week contract. In this dynamic 39-bed mixed ICU unit, you will manage complex medical, surgical, cardiac, and heavy trauma patients.

Contract Details

• Target Start Date: 09/13/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• Simplifi clinical interview required
• All time-off requests must be disclosed upfront (max 7 days; no RTO during early August)
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated ICU experience (excluding travel time)
• At least 1 completed travel assignment strictly required
• EPIC EMR proficiency required at submittal
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Active South Dakota RN license or multi-state compact license in hand
• Must reside strictly 100+ miles away from any Monument Health facility
• Previous Monument Health staff require a 1-year separation
