Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,731 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Utica, New York.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel nursing position with a start date of 09/27/2026. The schedule is 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM). Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 42-bed ICU (East 20, West 22) with the following specialties:
  • Neuro/Med: 22 beds (strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro interventions such as TCAR, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI)
  • CTICU: 6 beds (cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA)
  • Surg/Trauma: 14 beds (trauma, major post-op surgery)
• Operate specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun).
• Float to other units as needed, except Behavioral and ER (unless holding).

Requirements

• Up-to-date resume documenting:
  • 2+ years of ICU experience (SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
  • Required travel experience
• 4-5 years of ICU experience preferred; 2 years minimum required.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex (heart experience highly preferred).
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• NURSYS report and license verification with an active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses (RTO must be included at submission).
• EMR experience required: EPIC.
• Scrubs color: Navy.
